The story picks up in 1968, five years after JFK's assassination, when Bobby is also killed.

While the family deal with his death and Teddy (Matthew Perry) is put under pressure to run for president, Jackie accepts a marriage proposal from Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis (Alexander Siddig).
