England’s victory makes Bobby a national hero and he and Tina become celebrities overnight – even doing a photoshoot for TV Times! But dark days are around the corner.

Tina’s mother Betty (Patsy Kensit) is diagnosed with a brain tumour, Bobby is arrested for allegedly stealing a bracelet while in Colombia just before the 1970 World Cup and the police uncover a plot to kidnap Tina and the kids.

As cracks begin to appear in the golden couple’s once seemingly perfect marriage, Tina gives Bobby an ultimatum…
