The Icelandic crime drama Trapped returns with a horrifying new case

It’s been three years since we first met brooding, bear-like cop Andri Ólafsson (the wonderful Ólafur Darri Ólafsson), and it’s good to see him back as this simmering drama series returns.

This time around, a Reykjavik politician has been attacked by a man who set himself on fire and launched himself at her.

The attacker was her twin, Gisli, so Andri, now working in Reykjavik, heads north to Gisli’s home town, where Andri’s also from, to get to the bottom of the crime.

But also up there are Andri’s estranged daughter, a far-right group and more secrets than you can shake a stick at.

Get settled in as a slow-burning but thrilling double bill gets things going…
