This superb updating of Henry James' classic 19th-century novel is boosted by outstanding acting from Moore and Coogan, as well as Alexander Skarsgård and Joanna Vanderham as the warring couple's much younger new spouses.
However, it's Aprile's remarkable turn that holds the film together.
