Best known as a BBC newsreader, Sophie Raworth is the last celeb of the series to delve into her ancestry.

She begins in Brighton, searching for the Mott family, who she believes were prosperous piano-makers.

But instead of rich relatives tinkling the ivories, Sophie discovers a family divided, religious persecution and an ill-fated move to New York.

A second strand of the search reveals that green fingers run deep in the Chelsea Flower Show presenter’s family.
