Hollyoaks star Amanda Clapham and her co-star Charlie Clapham have had everyone fooled by pretending that they are siblings.
But while they may share the same surname, Amanda, who plays Holly in the C4 soap, has confessed that she is no relation to Charlie, aka Freddie Roscoe.
The actress took over the role of Holly Cunningham in 2013 and since then everyone has assumed that the actors are brother and sister.
Amanda told Inside Soap: “We are absolutely not related!

“We played along with it for ages, to be fair, and even posted a picture of us on Twitter captioned, ‘Family time #bigbro’ as a joke.
“People still think we’re related though.
“I’m devastated that he was in the show first, because I wanted to be the first Clapham in Hollyoaks!”
