Hollyoaks star Tamara Wall has revealed playing Grace Black is all about getting her hair right.
The 38-year-old actress, who joined the Channel 4 soap as bad girl Grace in 2013, has revealed that a little like Biblical character Samson, all her power lies in her enormous bouffant hair-do.
Tamara said: “As soon as I got this big hair, I felt the character get bigger.

“She strutted about more, and it brought a bit of comedy to her.
“I have no idea how early she gets up in the morning to do it – Grace must be a very early riser!”
But the soap star admitted Grace’s style took some time to perfect.
She said: “I don’t like how they did her hair for the opening credits. It was too curly and flat on the top. I really wanted it to be gi-normous – some days I come out of make-up and it’s literally square!”
