Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter says she came close to quitting I'm a Celebrity, but ended up having the best time of her life.

Jorgie told What's on TV at the National TV Awards: "I look back and I think there's a point I wanted to leave. [I thought] I don't want to do this any more, it's too hard. But I got over it and came out of it, laughing, having the best time of my life. And I'm taking that with me as a life experience and realise that in life you can get over things, nothing lasts for ever, it's going to be cool, it's going to be fine."

He added: "Just deal with it and have fun."

Jorgie revealed that she's in close contact with the friends she made in the jungle, specifically Ferne McCann, Susannah Constantine, George Shelley, Vicky Pattison, Yvette Fielding and Brian Friedman.

But coming up she faces Rufus Hound in Channel 5's Lip Sync Battle UK on Friday. "Oh, it was so good! [I'm up against] Rufus Hound... Don't tell him, I think he's pretty! Don't tell him I said that!"

"He is phenomenal. It's a great one, I've been told."
