The rumour mill is going into overdrive, throwing out celebrity names that we may see in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! this year.

One name that has been in that mill for months now is Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher.

Back in July, the Daily Star reported that Teri, who played Susan Meyer in the comedy-drama for eight years, was getting her bikini body ready for the jungle.

And Teri’s just run the New York marathon, on November 2, so she’d certainly be fit for the Bushtucker Trials.

Now the Sun has added another name to the mix: BBC newsreader Michael Buerk.

Michael, 68, is reportedly flying to Australia this weekend.

“Every year, I’m A Celebrity try to get at least one name that makes jaws drop and Michael could be the best ever,” a source has told the Sun.

Also rumoured to be taking part this year are: TV presenter Melanie Sykes, Olympic diver Tom Daley, TOWIE star Gemma Collins, rapper Tinchy Stryder, former X factor judge Tulisa, magician Dynamo, ex-footballer Robbie Savage, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and boxer Ricky Hatton.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns on ITV on Sunday, November 16, 9.00pm, with Ant & Dec presenting.
