I'm A Celebrity: Joey and Matthew to face bushtucker trial

TOWIE star Joey Essex and TV presenter Matthew Wright will go head to head in one of I'm A Celebrity's most infamous bushtucker trials following the first public vote of the series.

Sunday night's series opener saw the pair - who are currently in opposing teams in different camps - chosen by viewers to face Monday Night Takeaway, a notorious task which will involve eating animal parts and jungle critters.

Both appeared accepting of their fate, although Joey - who is the bookies' favourite to be voted to do the majority of trials - appeared visibly nervous at the prospect.

Highlights from the task will be shown on Monday night's programme.

Sunday's I'm A celebrity saw the ten new jungle dwellers make their way to camp as well as take part in a trial named Turntable Of Terror.

The challenge involved teams of celebrities playing against each other, attempting to build jigsaws in critter filled boxes in a bid to win meals for their camps.

Ultimately the yellow team - who included Kian Egan, Alfonso Ribeiro, Laila Morse and Lucy Pargeter - triumphed, leaving the red team in a far more basic camp.

Meanwhile Miss GB Amy Willerton appears to have become an early favourite with viewers, many of whom took to Twitter to make their feelings known.

"So Amy Willerton, when we getting married??" asked one smitten viewer, while another added: T ‘I wonder how many times Amy Willerton has been typed into Google Images within the last hour?"

The model has hinted that her naturist tendencies may lead to her stripping off in camp.
