Harriet Walter returns to Law & Order UK

Harriet Walter makes a surprise guest return to Law & Order UK on Wednesday in a dramatic case which sees former DI Natalie Chandler’s elderly father in the dock for murder.

Harriet starred as DI Natalie Chandler from 2009 to 2011, until the character left the force to look after her now-deceased mother. She makes an emotional guest return next week when DI Ronnie Brooks (Bradley Walsh) connects Natalie’s father Eric (EastEnders’ Martin Jarvis) to the death of a young father killed over a large sum of money.

Determined to clear her dad’s name, Natalie turns to Ronnie for help. Find out if the conflicted copper puts his neck on the line for his old governor when the episode screens on ITV on Wednesday, April 2.

Dame Harriet joined the cast of Downton Abbey as Lady Shackleton in 2013. She will also soon star in romantic World War II film Suite Française, co-starring with Dame Eileen Atkins, Michelle Williams and Kristin Scott Thomas.
