Neighbours' Jane Hall relishes return to Ramsay Street

Neighbours actress Jane Hall is set to return to Ramsay Street.

The 42-year-old will reprise her role as Rebecca Robinson, the estranged wife of Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), on the Australian soap for a four-week guest stint.

"I'm looking forward to working with some of my old friends and also a lot of new faces," she told Neighbours' website.

Rebecca's return will see her reunited with Paul under some 'unusual circumstances'.

Jane was last seen in 2011, when Rebecca fled from Erinsborough following the breakdown of her marriage to Paul, after being revealed as the mystery culprit who pushed Paul from the Lassiter's mezzanine level in the whodunnit storyline.

She teased that her arrival will not be appreciated by Paul, saying: "However I suspect Stefan may not be thrilled with my return since I tried to kill him last time I was on Neighbours!"

Neighbours' executive producer Richard Jasek added: "We are delighted to have Jane return to Ramsay Street even for a short time to upset Paul Robinson and there will be plenty of fireworks."

Jane's comeback scenes will be shown on Australian screens in February and in March in the UK.
