Commuters were treated to renditions of “Freelove Freeway”, “Life On The Road” and “Don’t Cry It’s Christmas” at London's St Pancras station today by a choir known as The 12 Disciples of Brent.

A choir calling themselves the “12 Disciples of Brent” congregated around the piano at London’s busy St Pancras railway station today to provide some David Brent-inspired entertainment to commuters.

In a festive tribute to comedy’s most cringe-worthy boss  - created and played by Ricky Gervais - spectators were treated to choral renditions of classic David Brent hits such as: “Freelove Freeway”, “Life On The Road”, “Don’t Cry It’s Christmas” and ode to Brent’s hometown “Slough”.

Mince pies bearing the iconic David Brent goatee were served and song sheets were distributed among the crowd so they could join in with the festivities.

The event was scheduled to mark the release of this year's blockbuster film David Brent: Life On The Road on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download.

The film was released in the summer and catches up with David Brent 12 years after the airing of the BBC mockumentary "The Office" to find he is now a traveling salesman. But Brent still hasn't given up on his dream of rock stardom and is about to embark on a self-financed UK tour with his band, Foregone Conclusion. Assembling a group of session musicians who are just in it for the money, Brent cashes in his pensions and takes unpaid leave in a bid to turn his dream into reality.

David Brent: Life on the Road is available on DVD, Blu-Ray™ and Digital Download from today
