This evening's EastEnders sees an upset and vulnerable Bex Fowler fall straight into a sinister Stuart Highway’s arms!

Vulnerable teen Bex Fowler turns to lodger Stuart Highway in tonight’s EastEnders episode, when her exam stress gets too much for her.

Stuart, who once tormented and terrified Tina Carter then set up Mick Carter for a crime he didn’t commit, has spent months trying to convince Albert Square that he’s turned over a new leaf.

After moving into Dot Branning’s house, he’s done a pretty good job of playing the humble and repentant man. Even Bex’s mum Sonia Fowler seems convinced. But he’s a bit too ready with a hug for an obviously struggling Bex and it’s starting to look like grooming…

Bex can’t concentrate on her studies, as she’s still upset after being rebuffed by her crush Kush Kazemi. When Stuart finds her in a state over her practice exam he offers to help.

Bex breaks down in Stuart’s arms but they’re interrupted by an alarmed Sonia. Stuart is keen to make sure Sonia is reassured that nothing untoward is going on but will she be convinced?

Tina Carter has called Stuart ‘evil’ and will never be able to trust him. What are Stuart's real intentions towards Bex and is she in danger?
