Channel 4 has unveiled the 12 young hopefuls who will compete for the £50,000 prize on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. In a makeover prompted by last year's Celebrity Big Brother scandal, Channel 4 has handpicked 12 British stars of the future, whose lives will be directed by celebrity 'hijackers' during the next three weeks. The new housemates include a brother and sister act who are circus performers, a fashion designer, a boxer, a racing driver, a beauty queen, a dancer, a politician, an entrepreneur, a conceptual artist, a singer/songwriter and a classical musician. These gifted housemates, who have excelled in the real world, will have to cope living under the guidance of, among others, Matt Lucas, Jimmy Carr, artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, comedy character Keith Lemon, Malcolm McLaren, Joan Rivers, Brian Sewell and Ian Wright. The show will launch on Channel 4 and E4 at 9pm on Thursday, January 3, before screening in its entirety on E4 until the final, which is expected to be the last weekend in January.
