Coronation Street has revealed Johnny Connor is behind the baby snatch

Coronation Street has released a new trailer revealing the dramatic aftermath when baby Susie is snatched in a dramatic kidnap plot.

Coronation Street titled the trailer: “Battle lines have been drawn across the cobbles as the feud between Eva and the Connors continues to esculate. But when Susie goes missing what lengths will they all have to go to for the sake of the baby?”

“She’s my child and she’s staying with me,” declares Eva Price, before Johnny hits back in the trailer, saying: “Not if I’ve got anything to do with it.”

Liz McDonald then says to Eva: “Johnny didn’t come home last night,” before the next shot shows an empty moses basket.

Eva is then seen making an emotional police appeal for the return of Susie, saying: “I need to know she’s safe.”

Leanne, who’s also at the police conference, adds: “If anyone knows anything, please tell the police.”

Coronation Street has already revealed that Johnny, who's been left reeling by the suicide of his son Aidan, is behind the baby snatch.

But, what's Johnny's plans now? Will he flee with baby Susie? Or will he come to his senses?

The scenes will air later this month.

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
