What could this be?
Dancing On Ice fans have been given another reason to get excited about Sunday night’s show after learning that they’ll be some sort of special announcement coming up!
Judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean teased the news to Twitter fans on Saturday, having posted a message reading: ‘Some kind of announcement on @dancingonice tomorrow.’
The DOI official account soon sent the speculation up a notch when they retweeted the statement and added: ‘Oooooh what could that be? #DancingOnIce’
Viewers have been getting pretty excited about the mystery announcement, with many busy speculating on social media about what it could be.
Some are hoping that Jayne and Chris - who previously acted as coaches on the show before joining the judging panel for this series - might be taking to the ice for a performance.
‘Please say it will be you and Jayne doing a routine. That's what I miss most on DOI,’ one fan tweeted, whilst another said: ‘Please say your going to do a routine. It's not the same without you two skating every week ‘
And one speculated: ‘Jayne and Chris skating Bolero in the final show? I hope.’
Meanwhile some wondered if the news could involve some sort of twist on the Dancing On Ice elimination process.
‘Triple eviction,’ one follower speculated, though it has already been announced that there is set to be a double eviction on this weekend’s show.
And one fan even pondered whether hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield might be taking to the ice!
‘Jayne will be skating with @Schofe and Chris with @hollywills ??? Please please please!!! #InMyDreams,’ the Twitter user wrote.
Whatever the news might be it’s certainly got viewers interested, with one writing: ‘You have me intrigued!’
Last week saw Lemar become the latest contestant to be voted off the competition, leaving seven stars remaining.
We can’t wait to hear what this big announcement could be!
