EastEnders CANCELLED tonight… again! Here’s why

Someone's just told Phil there's no EastEnders!

EastEnders fans will miss out on their favourite soap for the second Friday in a row this evening as the action from Albert Square has been cancelled.

After missing out last Friday due to the opening of the Women’s World Cup, it’s again the same culprit causing the trouble as the Beeb tonight will show England’s big game against Argentina.

EastEnders fans did at least get a double helping last night to make up for things, with Mick and Linda getting dressed up for a Spice Girls concert. They also saw the surprise return of killer Bobby Beale, who was last seen back in 2017.

It’s looking like being a summer of schedule changes, with Holby City fans gutted to discover that the hospital favourite has had to make way next Tuesday for Our Prime Minister, which will see the Conservative leadership hopefuls debating. Holby City will instead be shown next Thursday at 8pm.
