Jacob is jealous in Emmerdale

Feeling rejected, Jacob could ruin Christmas for Maya…

The 15-year-old, played by Joe-Warren Plant, has of course shared a kiss with Maya (Louisa Clein) and has developed a big crush on her.

Maya Stepney and Jacob Gallagher

Jacob Gallagher, angry and frustrated about seemingly being rejected by Maya, could be about to ruin her Christmas

But by Boxing Day Jacob is feeling rejected by her. The distraught teen, who’s been suffering dramatic mood swings, feels that he’s in love with Maya and can't understand why she doesn't feel the same way.

And he’s furious when he overhears his dad David (played by Matthew Wolfenden) and Maya kissing and professing their love for each other.

Wounded, Jacob considers exposing her! He could tell his dad, who’s blissfully unaware of the fact Jacob has kissed Maya, what’s happened and could this lead to the police visiting Emmerdale? What will David do if Jacob tells him everything on Boxing Day?

The storyline is seen continuing tonight, with David worrying about why his son has been so sulky recently. Maya, clearly not wanting David and Jacob having a heart-to-heart, tells David everything will be OK and offers to talk to Jacob herself…

It’s all part of a dramatic Christmas on Emmerdale, which on Christmas Day will see Marlon faint as Jessie stuns him with a wedding! But when he comes around, will he say “I do”?

On a lighter note, Bernice is feeling a bit tender about turning 50, so she’s completely livid when a surprise birthday is thrown in her honour!

She then has to race around trying to pop “Happy 50th birthday” balloons before Liam sees them!

Emmerdale continues on ITV at 7pm on ITV.
