Gary Barlow has said he is determined to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics on Sunday, less than a week after his daughter Poppy was tragically delivered stillborn. The Take That singer and X Factor judge is reportedly keen to join bandmates Robbie Williams, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen on stage at Sunday's event in spite of his recent tragedy - with sources telling The Sun they will stand by him whatever his final decision. "The last week has been awful - as everyone can understand," the source told the paper. "The band have been there for him and totally understand if he doesn't do the gig, Take That are on the running order and the organisers are prepared for all eventualities, but they all know Gary will be determined to perform. "They haven't rehearsed this week for obvious reasons but they are professionals and can turn it on under pressure. It will be a tough call for Gary but everyone will back his decision." News of the tragedy broke on Monday when Gary revealed in a statement that Poppy had been stillborn at the weekend, eight and a half months into wife Dawn's pregnancy. The baby was the fourth child for the couple who already have a son, Daniel, and daughters Emily and Daisy. He later took to Twitter to tell his followers, "Your kind words and lovely messages are overwhelming. Thank you."
