Home and Away gets two handsome new bad boys

Channel 5 have confirmed that two new bad boys will be stirring things up in Summer Bay this month!

Tai Hara (right) and Jackson Gallagher (left) join the Australian soap as brothers Andy and Josh Barrett, who arrive from Mangrove River with explosive secrets and a grudge against the River Boys.

Starring in Home and Away is a dream come true for Tai, 23, and he told reporters he had to pinch himself the first time he found himself on set at Palm Beach.

"Knowing that I have the opportunity to be on such an iconic and much loved show is so humbling,' he explains. 'It's a little daunting acting alongside names that are so highly regarded and recognised within the industry, but everyone on set is so down to earth."

He was even able to give fans a little teaser about what his character is all about, saying: "Andy is the eldest of the Barratt brothers. He's an extremely unpredictable and protective character, and regardless of his circumstances, family always comes first."

His on-screen sibling Jackson shares his excitement. "What I really like about Josh's story is it demonstrates that your past doesn't necessarily define your future, and you don't have to be who people expect you to be. I can relate to that in a sense and it's been great to explore."
