HORROR in Coronation Street as THIS Weatherfield favourite is left fighting for their life
Everyone fears the worst when Emma Brooker collapses from a mystery illness...
There's panic on the cobbles as Coronation Street favourite Emma Brooker is rushed to hospital for an emergency operation next week after a misdiagnosis from Dr Ali Neeson.
The drama starts when Maria Connor asks Ali to take a look at Emma after she arrives at work with a pain in her side.
But while Ali should be the perfect person to come to with your ailments, his mind is elsewhere when he discovers Maria has landed herself a date with Gary Windass.
Ali, who is secretly still in love with Maria, is heartbroken that she has moved on so fast, and so dismisses Emma's pain and tells her that she probably just has food poisoning.
With the pain getting worse, Emma heads home to rest up, while Toyah tells Ali that he should come clean to Maria about how he feels before it is too late.
However, it's not long before his love life is the least of Ali's problems when Emma's condition deteriorates rapidly.
