Is it the final already? Here are some of our favourite bits from Strictly Come Dancing 2015

With Strictly Come Dancing about to reach its spectacular conclusion, here are some of our memorable moments from 2015′s celebrity battle for the Glitterball trophy.

Jeremy’s sheer enthusiasm

Jeremy Vine and Karen Clifton

Everyone was expecting Jeremy Vine to go out in the first week, but he made it to the second… and the third… and he kept on going.

The judges found plenty to fault with his dancing, but no one could fault his enthusiasm.

Jeremy's attitude? Even without any natural talent whatsoever, you should always give 100 per cent - and that's how he won the nation’s heart.

Kellie and Kevin embracing Star Wars fever

Star Wars is everywhere at the moment – even in the Strictly ballroom. Who could have imagined a Star Wars-themed Charleston? Kevin Clifton could. It was glorious…and Kellie Bright and Kevin will be dancing it again in tonight's final as their favourite dance of the series.

That Jive from Jay

You know the one we mean. Shy, nervous Jay McGuiness suddenly emerged from his shell and performed a rip-roaring Pulp Fiction-themed Jive with Aliona Vilani. It scored the first 10 of the series – and rightly so.

Claudia the comedian

Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly

Claudia Winkleman has come into her own in this series, with some brilliant banter with contestants as they wait for the judges' scores… She's even made reading out the terms and conditions for voting entertaining..

Georgia’s Charleston

Georgia May Foote and and Giovanni Pernice danced a Charleston to Hot Honey Rag from Chicago – and you could tell from the grin on her face that it was her favourite movie. Three 10s!

The Blackpool group dance

The "Upstairs Downstairs"-themed group dance – with the aristocrats played by the celebrities and the professionals down in the servants’ quarters – was the perfect way to demonstrate how far the contestants had come. It was cheeky, it was impressive, and it filled up the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Craig accusing Bruno of being mean

Strictly Come Dancing judges

Pot calling the kettle black? Craig Revel Horwood – renowned for his cutting remarks and low scores – scolded Bruno Tonioli for describing Carol Kirkwood’s dance as having “all the romance of a cleaning session”.

To everyone’s surprise, Craig said: “That was nasty Bruno.”

Ainsley's choppy dancing

Ainsley Harriott was one of the most loveable contestants on the show this year, and he clearly loved getting hands-on with a tomato for a Salsa to "Don’t Touch My Tomatoes". But it wasn't a recipe for success.

The Quickstep-a-thon

Wow! How did they all get so good?
