Jamie Oliver's always had something of the overgrown schoolboy about him; now he's going to be turned into a 10-year-old cartoon boy by the makers of Wallace and Gromit. Aardman Productions are to make a 52-part animated series about a boy called Jamie who aspires to be a great chef, reports the Daily Mirror. Little J will be aimed at seven to 11-year-olds and won't be ready until after Oliver's Channel 4 contract expires. he said: "I want to pass on a little knowledge in a fun way. I'm passionate about it." Little J could be sold to a network like Nickelodeon or the BBC, it was reported.
