Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has revealed that wearing a fake baby bump makes her broody. The 25-year-old actress, who plays Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap, has admitted she couldn't wait to wear a padded tummy for the surrogacy storyline. "I'm always broody anyway - I love kids!" she said on This Morning. "I love it, I've been waiting for that bump for years. But I can actually feel myself walking around like I'm pregnant and sitting down like I'm [really] pregnant! And with it being so cold outside, it keeps me warm!" Michelle, who was previously engaged to The Wanted singer Max George, met other surrogate mothers for research and revealed how they have changed her views on surrogacy. "I met a lady called Jo, who was amazing. No one really talks about surrogacy, it's a bit of a taboo subject, and she basically said, 'I've had my own children and I wanted to help other people have children'," she explained. "I couldn't get my head around it at first but when she told me the stories and got to know the families, it's just amazing." The actress added: "I would never rule it out now, ever. If someone really needed my help I would never rule that out... or if I needed [a surrogate], yeah, one hundred per cent."
