Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster is one of the stars planning to strut their stuff on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing. Blonde Penny is apparently in advanced talks to twirl her Hot Legs when the hit reality show returns to BBC1 next month, according to reports. If she does appear, Penny will follow in the footsteps of Rod's ex Rachel Hunter, who featured on the US version, Dancing With The Stars, in 2005, and wowed British viewers on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. A show insider said: "Penny's a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing. Beeb bosses think she'll be the ultimate draw sexy and a good mover. "Every year producers want to get the best names possible and Penny is right at the top of their list. And she's keen to sign so hopefully it's all systems go." Last month, Penny paid £1,400 to dance with Strictly star Brendan Cole at a charity auction - and was overhead telling others at The Duke Of Essex Polo Trophy bash that she wanted to win the auction 'no matter what'. It's also believed that ex-EastEnder Natalie Cassidy, downtrodden Sonia Fowler in the soap, has signed up. Natalie is keen to show off her new slim figure after shedding two stone. And it's thought that former Coronation Street star Debra Stephenson, who quit the ITV soap last year as Frankie Baldwin, has also agreed to appear on the show. Penny, Natalie and Debra will be joined by GMTV's Andrew Castle and sports presenter Gabby Logan, who was forced to pull out last year because she was working for ITV.
