Pixie Lott was delighted last night when one hopeful performed one of her songs in the blind auditions. Twelve-year-old Lewis gave a stirring rendition of Cry Me Out.

The Voice Kids coach Pixie Lott was blown away last when one young contestant gave a stirring rendition of one of her hits.

Twelve-year-old Lewis chose to sing Pixie's hit Cry Me Out, which the pop star released in 2009.

During his performance all three judges turned around for him but it was Pixie, 26, who was first to turn her chair around.

"I love you," Pixie told him, "You are incredible."

Explaining his decision to choose Pixie over the other mentors, Lewis said: "I picked that song because I love Pixie and have loved that song since I first heard it."

Earlier in the show viewers had their hearts melted by the show's youngest contestant yet, eight-year-old Daisy.

The youngster sang an adorable version of Lulu and the Lampshades' When I'm Gone, but it wasn't enough to make the judges turn around.

And while the coaches didn’t turn for her, she continued to smile and high fived the vocal coach at the edge of the stage.

When Pixie Lott, Will.i.am and Danny Jones finally saw Daisy, they joined her by sitting on the stairs of the stage.

Daisy revealed that she had been singing since she could talk.

Will.i.am told her: “When I was eight years old I wouldn’t have had the courage you showed today, so you’re my big inspiration because when you grow up you’re probably going to outdo us all.”

Danny exclaimed: “What a star, eh!”

Viewers took to Twitter to show their support for Daisy.
