Sherlock star Louise Brealey's foodie film Delicious will finally make it to UK cinemas this summer.
The darkly comic romance about an obsessive dieter, Stella (played by Louise, Molly in Sherlock), who embarks on a dysfunctional romance with an aspiring French chef Jacques also stars Sheila Hancock and Gavin & Stacey star Adrian Scarborough and will be shown at selected cinemas across the UK from Monday 30 June.
The film begins with Jacques - who has recently been released from prison - arriving in London and starting work in the kitchen of fiery chef Victor Elwood (Scarborough), a man he believes could be his father.
After finding accommodation in London, he soon meets his new neighbours, fiesty OAP Patti (Sheila) and the beguiling Stella (Louise), who he plans to seduce with his culinary talent. Unfortunately for him she shows no interest in Jacques or his food!
