Congratulations to Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, actress/writer/director Sophie Hunter, 37, who have become the proud parents of a boy, their first child.
A spokesman for the couple, who wed earlier this year, said: “Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son.
“We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
