Stephen King’s newest book is being turned into a TV series.
The writer’s new book, The Institute, only came out earlier this week.
The novel, which hit the shelves on Tuesday, tells the story of a young boy who is committed to an institution where children who have been abducted are incarcerated to have experiments carried out on them.
The special children, who are gifted with telepathy and telekinesis, combine their abilities to escape from the dark facility.
And TV producers have become so taken with the read that they are already making plans to adapt it into a TV series for network Spyglass.
The adaptation will be done by high-profile producers David E. Kelley, who worked on Big Little Lies, and Jack Bender, who worked on Lost.
The pair has also previously worked together on TV series Mr Mercedes, which is currently in its third series.
Spyglass' president of television Laura Whitney, said of the adaptation: ‘Having the opportunity to work on a new and brilliant book by Stephen King is an absolute privilege.
‘We are thrilled to collaborate with this dream team,’ she continued, ‘including the incomparable David E. Kelley, and Jack Bender, the architect behind this project, whose extensive directing and executive producing credits speak for themselves.

Stephen King also spoke out about the news, saying: ‘I'm delighted to be working with Jack and David, the creative team behind Mr. Mercedes.
‘We think alike, and I believe The Institute is going to be a great success."’
The 71-year-old writer has had a series of his books adapted into both films and TV series.
He is the author behind iconic movies Misery, The Shining and The Shawshank Redemption.
The film IT, whose sequel was released recently, is also based on one of Stephen’s books.
