Strictly Come Dancing: celeb partners revealed!

This year's Strictly Come Dancing celebrities have been paired off with their professional partners in a special show to launch the new series. The 14 stars - whose names were revealed last week - had no idea who they would be partnered with at the start of the show, but they were paired off with the professionals on stage in front of the studio audience. They now have three weeks to train before the new series of the show begins on October 1. First to discover their partners were EastEnders star Scott Maslen - who will dance with Natalie Lowe. The Australian dancer was runner-up on the 2009 series when she partnered Ricky Whittle. TV presenter Matt Baker has been partnered with Aliona Vilani, while former footballer Peter Shilton will dance with Erin Boag. Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams was next to discover her partner - she will be dancing with Brendan Cole. And she was followed by Pamela Stephenson, who is partnered by James Jordan, and former Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien, who is dancing with series newcomer Jared Murillo. Magician Paul Daniels will partner last year's professional winner, Ola Jordan, while actor-musician Goldie is set to dance with Kristina Rihanoff. Another newcomer, Robin Windsor, will dance with Patsy Kensit while the final new professional, Artem Chigvintsev, will partner former EastEnders star Kara Tointon. The final two male celebrities, actor Jimi Mistry and rugby star Gavin Henson, were told they would partner Flavia Cacace and Katya Virshilas respectively. It is the second year running Katya has partnered a sports star, having danced with Phil Tufnell in 2009.
