No-one was expecting this transformation

Strictly Come Dancing star Jonnie Peacock unveiled a drastic new look after chopping off his trademark long locks in favour of a shorter 'do.

The Paralympian - who was eliminated in week nine with partner Oti Mabuse - shocked fans with his sleeker new look during an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on Friday night.

Jonnie appeared alongside Strictly rejects Aston Merrygold, Chizzy Akudolu, Charlotte Hawkins and presenter Gethin Jones to discuss the last few couples in the competition ahead of the final this weekend.

But his new look appeared to be distracting for some of his fellow panellists as Gethin couldn't help but mention his new tresses, saying: 'Look at this Jonnie's had a haircut especially for the final!'

It Takes Two host Zoe Ball then quipped: 'Nice hair peacock! I like it.'

And they weren't the only ones as fans watching at home were quick to compliment Jonnie on his transformation.

One tweeted: 'Love @JonniePeacock 's new haircut, very handsome. #ItTakesTwo #Strictly xx.'

While another said: 'Jonnie has had his hair cut into a style I can only describe as Disney Prince'.

And a third gushed: 'MorOMG @JonniePeacock cut his hair!!! Even hotter now  #strictly.'

Jonnie lost his place in the competition after facing Debbie McGee and her partner Giovanni Pernice in the dreaded dance off, with the judges opting to send him home.

Speaking about his time on the show, Jonnie said he'd 'massively' enjoyed his weeks of dancing, saying it was an 'absolute honour' to be the first disabled star to take part in the show.

Tonight, Joe McFadden, Gemma Atkinson, Alexandra Burke and Debbie McGee will battle it out to lift the coveted glitterball trophy.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Final kicks off on Saturday night at 6.30pm on BBC One.
