The Welsh rugby star has been moaning that fellow Strictly Come Dancing contestant Paul Daniels has been getting more fan mail than he has. According to the Daily Star, Gavin is 'gutted' after finding out the 72-year-old magician has been flooded with letters of support after impressing female viewers on last week's show. A BBC insider revealed: "Gavin has been having a right old moan, saying Paul's been inundated with letters. "Gavin is really competitive. He's a sportsman. It's built into him, so naturally he's hacked off that Paul's fan sack is bulging." Gavin even complained to judge Craig Revel Horwood about the lack of attention he's been getting. A show source said: "Everyone thinks it's hilarious that Gavin's getting his knickers in a twist. "He's been getting his chest out at every opportunity and expected to have female fans queuing up. Everyone thought Scott Maslen would be his big competition in the heart-throb stakes. "But Paul's been a star for years and he is determined to show the younger guys he still has what it takes." The new series of Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday, 9 October where the first couple will be voted off the show.
