Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams could be forced to leave Strictly Come Dancing after suffering an ankle injury in rehearsals. Michelle was rushed to hospital amid fears she had broken her ankle during a training session. An X-ray revealed no break but Michelle is having to use crutches, putting the chances of her dancing this weekend at risk. A Strictly spokesman said: "Michelle's ankle is very swollen. "She is having physio treatment but has been advised she must have complete rest." In other Strictly news, it has been confirmed that John Barrowman and Fern Britton have signed up to appear in the show's Christmas special. According to The Sun, John said: "I'm ecstatic - I've watched Strictly since the first series. "I am looking forward to the challenge as it's so different to any of the dancing I've done in musicals. "But more than anything I am so looking forward to the costumes. I can guarantee this - there will be sequins." The one-off BBC1 programme will be recorded when the current Strictly series ends and is expected to be screened on Christmas Day.
