The Voice: Vince Kidd finishes fourth in final

Vince Kidd has finished fourth in the final of The Voice UK after receiving the fewest number of votes from viewers in the first result of the night. The blond singer - who was the sole remaining member of Jessie J's team - lost out after his performances in the final of Many Rivers To Cross and Nobody's Perfect - which saw him duet with his mentor. His departure now leaves Bo Bruce, Leanne Mitchell and Tyler James to compete for the series title, and the coveted record contract. Vince said afterwards that being on the show had been a "fantastic experience" and added, "I've got my album ready to go now, hopefully will get to release it." Jessie also paid tribute to her act, saying, "I've always said, sometimes winning isn't everything, the journey is way more important than where you end up. "This guy is The Voice, I'm so happy I've been able to be a part of his journey." Earlier in the show Vince impressed the judges with his two performances. Will told him after his rendition of Many Rivers To Cross, "You have always been one of my favourite dudes in the competition, I have been trying to find a singer to compete against you. Other than that it was dope." And Jessie said of their duet, "For me, from the beginning, I wanted to find someone with a voice. Just someone who could stand on a stage and sing their butt off - like Vince."
