Tina Hobley has admitted that she's never been able to watch Coronation Street since leaving the soap. The Holby City actress played Weatherfield's man-eating barmaid Samantha Failsworth from 1996 to 1998. She told the Radio Times: "I used to watch Coronation Street all the time before I was in it. "But being in a show spoils the illusion so I've never watched it since I left." The actress told the magazine she'd love to go on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! but only if they took away the cameras. "I'd love to do the jungle experience and I think I'd be good at the challenges and trials because I'm really up for those outdoor activities," she said. "But I can't bear the way they edit you to create storylines. You leave yourself wide open if you go on there, so I'd only do it without cameras." And she admitted being "squeamish", despite playing Chrisse Williams in Holby for more than a decade.
