Holby City star Tom Chambers is still the bookies' favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing. The competition was thrown into chaos last weekend due to freak scoring results from judges which meant two couples tied. Singer Rachel Stevens and presenter Lisa Snowdon were awarded exactly the same amount of points. This meant that no matter how much public support he received, Tom could not be saved from the "dance-off". The contestants' scores will be carried over to tomorrow, and will be disclosed on a leader board at the beginning of the show - the first time voting figures for the couples have been made public, the BBC said. But despite Tom's lower scores last week, William Hill put him as their 10/11 favourite to win Strictly, with bets of up to £5,000 placed on the star. The bookmaker put odds of 6/4 on Rachel and ranked Lisa as an outsider at 9/2. "We are 33/1 that the BBC fails to provide a result on Saturday night but if they manage to get it right then we will be cheering on Lisa who is our best result," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams. The bookies has already opened a book on who will appear in Strictly in 2009 and offer 7/4 that Peter Mandelson will be a contestant, 5/1 for Richard Madeley and 10/1 for Robbie Williams.
