Further upset follows for Victoria after a stranger arrives...

Emmerdale rape victim Victoria Barton is set for more emotional turmoil later this summer following the arrival in the village of a stranger, we can reveal.

The pub chef was attacked back in April on the big night out by rapist Lee and subsequently discovered she was pregnant.

Last week she stunned her family by revealing that she intended to keep the baby.

Meanwhile, Robert and Aaron have been left furious by the police’s announcement that they cannot charge Lee with a crime due to a lack of evidence.

Determined to see justice done, the couple will this week visit Lee at his work place; a local car dealership. And next week they will incur the wrath of Victoria by plastering posters around the area bearing Lee’s photograph and the word “RAPIST” in bold letters.

There is more upset on the way for Victoria when a stranger later turns up in Emmerdale and further complicates matters. Who is it, and what could they possibly want from her?

“There’s no let up for Victoria this summer,” says Isabel Hodgins, who plays her.

“Things are about to get a lot more difficult for her. The newcomer is set to put the cat amongst the pigeons, that’s for sure!’

Emmerdale continues on ITV.
