Boyband Westlife have revealed that they don't want to start a war with The Spice Girls as both band's albums go head-to-head in the run-up to Christmas... Westlife release their new album, Back Home, on Monday November 5 - and singer Kian Egan was reported in The Mirror as saying that The Spice Girls were 'running scared' by moving the release date of their Greatest Hits album. He's also reported to have called Sporty Spice Mel Chisholm 'mean'. In an exclusive interview with whatsontv.co.uk, Kian admitted: "I did say that Mel C doesn't have anything nice to say about anybody." But the band said that they would welcome a 'friendly' chart battle. Fellow Westlifer Mark Feehily said: "We don't care about getting into arguments with the Spice Girls," adding that any chart battle should be "a bit of fun".
