The remaining nine X Factor contestants are preparing to get all dressed up to showcase their scary sides in tonight's live show.

X Factor contestants will reveal their spooky sides with Halloween-inspired performances in the competition’s special fright night round tonight.

The nine remaining acts have been working hard this week to bring original, ghoulish twists to classic hits in time for the show on Saturday.

Controversial contestant Honey G will be performing a rendition of Will Smith’s Men In Black, and has already asked her fans to send in their own Spooky G snaps for a little inspiration.

The recruitment manager, 35, announced on Friday that she plans to quit her day job and pursue a career as a full-time rapper.

She said: “All my life I’ve wanted to be a rapper and I never had the opportunity to be on a platform.

“I’ve seen what I am capable of and I feel like I have been born as a rap star, and I want to go all the way to the final.”

Fellow over-25 contestant Saara Aalto will be performing Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance – another quirky choice after her colourful rendition of Oh So Quiet, by Bjork, in last week’s “diva” round.

In the boys’ category, Matt Terry will be performing Nina Simone’s classic I Put A Spell On You, while Ryan Lawrie takes viewers back to the 90s with Everybody by Backstreet Boys.

To get them in the mood for some frightening fun this weekend, their coach Nicole Scherzinger this week took them for a special team meeting at The London Bridge Experience.

In the girls’ category, Emily Middlemas will be singing Creep, by Radiohead, Sam Lavery will be opting for Bonnie Tyler’s famous Total Eclipse Of The Heart, and Gifty Louise will bring I’m In Love With A Monster, by Fifth Harmony.

Returning to the competition after facing near-elimination in last week’s sing-off, girl group Four Of Diamonds will be performing Ella Henderson’s Ghost, and 5 After Midnight will aim to top their dance spectacular last week with Halloween favourite Thriller, by Michael Jackson.

The X Factor’s Fright Night episode will air at 8pm on Saturday, on ITV1.
