Rhydian Roberts has admitted he feels honoured to be performing on The X Factor on Saturday night - especially as he didn't win the contest last year. The Welsh warbler, who came second to Leon Jackson in 2007, will be performing The Impossible Dream, the lead track from his debut album, Rhydian. Speaking exclusively to whatsontv.co.uk, Rhydian said: "I'm very honoured to be asked back - I didn't win last year and the winners usually come back and perform as a guest but not the runners-up." When asked how he felt about performing, he added: "I'm excited... if slightly apprehensive." Rhydian added that he is particularly keen to meet new X Factor judge Cheryl Cole. He said: "It will be nice to see her. I hope I can concentrate on the song." Rhydian's self-titled debut album is out on November 24.
