Emmett J Scanlan has revealed he will be appearing in the new series of Atlantis by sharing a photo of himself at the set.
The Hollyoaks and The Fall actor posted the cast photo of himself with his Atlantis co-stars, in costume, to Instagram to share his excitement.
He wrote: "Mythology has always been one of my favourite subjects...Getting to live it on @BBCAtlantis @BBCOne was a little special...
"Such a s*** hot impressive production... Johnny Capps & Julian Murphy are wizards...And if the scripts are anything to go by, this new season will prove to be an explosion of everything you would expect and more...
"Had a great time working with the brilliant @MrMarkAddy @RobertEmms @AiyshaHart... And of course the very funny #JackDonnelly. Last but not least, my director and old friend Laurence Gough(centre)... #Blessed #Believe."
In the photo, Emmett is wearing body armour and a cape. Atlantis is based in the mythical city where the main character, Jason (Jack Donnelly), washes up on the shore.
Filming on the second series of Atlantis began in April.
