Big Brother: Line punishment for pair

Big Brother housemates Ziggy and Carole have each been made to write 100 lines after breaking one of the house rules. The pair landed in trouble on Friday after they wrote each other a message in chalk - contravening Big Brother's instructions that no notes are to be written in the house. As a result, both were given lines to write on a blackboard. Ziggy's read: "I must not participate in written communication within the Big Brother house. This is a fundamental breach of the Big Brother Rules, for which I apologise." Carole, meanwhile, had to write: "I must not take writing materials lent to me in good faith by Big Brother and then use this writing material to communicate secret messages. Both acts are a fundamental breach of the Big Brother Rules, for which I apologise." As a further humiliation, they were also made to wear school ties and dunces hats while writing their lines. "It's not really the worst punishment," Ziggy said Laura, "and we didn't really do anything wrong. We had a bit of fun." However, the pair were not allowed to tell the others the reason why they were being punished. Both were still working on their lines into the early hours of Saturday morning, and were seen wearing their hats and ties on the live eviction night show.
