Big Brother's oldest housemate Lesley Brain might have told a porky about her royal connections, it seems. The 60-year-old Women's Institute committee member claimed she was mates with Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and had even been invited for drinks at Highgrove, the Daily Mail reports. But Ann Glanville, a long-standing member of the Tetbury WI, of which Camilla is an honorary member, told the paper: "Lesley is new to the area, I would very much doubt if she had even met Camilla." A Big Brother spokesman said: "Lesley said that she went for Christmas drinks at Highgrove to a senior producer on camera. I don't think she wanted to volunteer any further information. She said it was a private friendship and that she did not want to say any more about it." Lesley has apparently lived in Tetbury, Glos, for just eight months since returning from a six-year stint in Portugal with her architect husband David. A royal spokesperson said: "Charles and Camilla throw open their doors to many Tetbury locals at Christmas to thank them for their help and support over the year.
