Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden for Prime Minister?

It seems Amanda Holden isn’t being kept busy enough with judging duties on Britain’s Got Talent - she has ambitions to enter the political arena.

The talent show panellist said she loves “changing people’s opinions of me” and loves to “surprise people”.

“It’s the ultimate ‘putting two fingers up’ to those who underestimate me,” Amanda told The Sunday Mirror Magazine Notebook.

Amanda, 43, said she would like to get back into drama and said there “could be more current affairs stuff”.

Asked if a career in politics could beckon, the TV star said: “Yay, Mandy for Prime Minister - or at least Mayoress of London. Why not?”

Amanda also told the magazine about her parenting advice to Britain’s Got Talent guru Simon Cowell.

“I just told Simon he’d love Eric (his baby son) more than he loves himself, and I think that’s true.”
