Drag act the Kit Kat Dolls have been booted off Britain's Got Talent after tabloids reported their X-rated exploits. According to the News Of The World and other Sunday papers, three members of the nine-strong troupe were given their marching orders just hours before Saturday night's semi-final after the allegations were revealed. The paper said that the trio - who include lead singer Vanilla Lush - offered personal services to one of their reporters over the weekend. Producers then had to hurriedly rework the show, rewriting scripts and editing out all mentions of the band - although no reason was given on air as to why they were no longer in the semi-final. The band - which consists of transvestites and pre-op transexuals - stunned judges with their rendition of the Pussycat Dolls song Don't Cha. The scandal is the second to hit the popular show in as many days. On Friday George Formby impersonator Richard Bates quit the semi-finals, after it was revealed he was on the Sex Offenders Register. Arouns 10m people tuned in to Saturday night's semi final, which saw six-year-old singer Connie Talbot and juggling act The Barwizards progress to the final.
