David Walliams: 'I'd be a fool to leave Britain's Got Talent'

David Walliams has admitted that he would be a fool to leave the judges' panel on Britain’s Got Talent.

David Walliams announced this week he had signed up for another season of the hit show and he features alongside co-stars Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon in a new advert for the show.

The video shows all four with Stephen Mulhern, who presents spin-off show, Britain’s Got More Talent.

David, who recently split from his wife Lara Stone, has already done three years on the hit ITV talent show.

He told The Sun: “We’ve got a really great panel and I love the chemistry. Most of the time it’s a really happy experience and I would’ve been foolish to leave it.”

The funnyman, who shot to fame in Little Britain, tied the knot with Dutch model Lara in 2010 and she gave birth to a son, Alfred, two years ago.

The couple married at Claridge’s hotel in central London with guests including Denise Van Outen, film-maker Sam Taylor-Johnson, actress Barbara Windsor and James Corden.

David, a regular on TV, has also established a career as the author of a series of best-selling children’s books.
