Britain's Got Talent bosses have rejected suggestions that Susan Boyle might be axed from the show's final. Reports suggested she may be taken off the show amid fears she was not coping with the pressure of her newfound fame. Susan, 48, dubbed the Hairy Angel, was propelled into the spotlight following her audition for the show, singing I Dreamed A Dream from the musical Les Miserables. But Susan, from Blackburn, West Lothian, has struggled to handle the attention and thought about quitting the show to escape it, judge Piers Morgan said. A spokeswoman for Britain's Got Talent said Susan was receiving the support she needed from the show's producers. "She just wants to focus on her performance, and the well-being of our contestants is our number one priority," she said. Morgan told ITV News at Ten that Susan went as far as packing her bags on Wednesday in preparation for quitting. Tonight's live semi-final show will see DCD Seniors, Dreambears, Martin Matcham, Aidan Davies, Good Evans, Hollie Steel, Luke Clements and Greg Pritchard take to the stage to secure the last two places in tomorrow's final. Last night saxophonist Julian Smith, from Birmingham, and singing grandfather and granddaughter duo John Neill and Sallie Lax, aged 76 and 12 respectively, from Doncaster, won through to the final.
