Big Ron, Sophie Anderton for Celeb Big Brother?

Sophie Anderton and Ron Atkinson have signed up to the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, according to reports.

Troubled model Sophie (pictured) and race row football pundit Ron are just two of the celebrities who will enter the house for the show's launch in August, says The Sun.

Ron quit as an ITV pundit in 2004 when he made a racist remark about Chelsea player Marcel Desailly while he thought his microphone was off.

Other names signed up for the reality show include Loose Woman Carol McGiffin and Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby.

Charlotte and Ron are said to be the highest-paid stars in this series with fees approaching six figures, while Sophie is thought to be bagging £30,000 for her appearance.

Charlotte said: "We have cameras filming us 24/7 so I think Big Brother will be a walk in the park."

All four signings are known for their outspoken ways and Carol follows other Loose Women Denise Welch and Coleen Nolan who have previously appeared in the Channel Five show.
