Actor and recent Celebrity Big Brother star Michael Madsen has been arrested following a fight with his teenage son, according to reports. The Los Angeles County Sherriff said in a statement that the 54-year-old had been detained at his home in Malibu, California, after police were called to a family disturbance. He is said to have been arrested on suspicion of child cruelty, with police reports saying that he had been under the influence of alcohol at the time, and that the boy showed signs of injury - but did not require medical attention. The actor is currently being held on £63,000 bail. The cause of the argument remains unknown but according to The Sun may have arisen after Madsen found his teenage son smoking marijuana. His lawyer Perry Wander told the paper, "It's a family matter and Michael asks that his family's privacy be respected." Madsen, best known for his appearances in the Quentin Tarantino movies Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, was back in the spotlight earlier this year when he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house. He went on to finish fourth in the final, which was won by Denise Welch.
